REAL MEN WEAR CHANEL BUT DO NOT CARRY IT.

On Thursday evening, I got a bug: The Chanel bug. I threw on a Man-nel Chanel boucle jacket from Autumn Winter 2006 and a medallion necklace from around 2001 and attended a book signing and fete for Coco Chanel: The Legend and the Life by my friend Justine Picardie. Click here for some fun pics of the ladies in their Chanel finery. Now if you don't own a piece of Chanel (be it of the masculine or feminine variety) you are missing out. One can satiate the Chanel bug just by reading Ms. Picardie's book and carrying it in his or her hand, but if you want to go to second base, get a 2.55 quilted leather iconic Chanel bag. I wouldn't carry one, but I think you would and should.
