SO AMERICAN

Bastille Day is so yesterday. I mayhave prescribed an attire of "dress French" on the 14th but today I say "Dress American." This Bonnie Cashin natural colored cotton canvas skirt features an attached coin purse at the right hip, a signature of Cashin's design oeuvre. With snap buttons, the skirt is perfect to wear with espadrilles (hello, I just got back from Provence so expect a lot of espadrille references for a few weeks) and a Saint James striped cotton tee. Cashing understood the melding of form and function and the large attached coin purse is ample enough to hold an I Phone. Was Cashin a visionary like Nostradamus to know we need a place to store a smart phone? I would say so. Practical and chic-a-licious.
