ALAIA TO DIE FOR

If you follow me on FB and Twitter and read the Huffington Post, you probably read my love letter to Azzedine Alaia following his gorgeous Couture show earlier this month. If you didn't read it yet, here is a quick link.

Now not everyone can get invited to an Alaia Couture show or actually afford to buy a piece, either. (The ready to wear ain't cheap for that matter, too). The vintage pieces are extremely desirable and we are very lucky to have an epic collection of vintage Alaia that will give you the special feeling of Haute Couture without the five figure prices. We have a LOT of 80s and 90s Alaia and we are working our petit mains to the bones to blog them as quickly as possible, but the word is out and many pieces have sold before we could even photograph them, so if you are in the hood take a peak in person, but know we are doing are darndest to get the 411 on line for you.

This may be the most spectacular piece: A stretch lace and panne velvet insert long sleeve dress with a faux-fur chenille hem. Spectacularly light, ideal for travel, and surely to guarantee you are the most desirable amidst a dress of well-heeled and high-heeled women in any setting.

Azzedine Alaia outstanding stretch viscose and rayon blend lace and panne velvet long sleeve dress with chenille trim hem, A/W 1991. Marked size S.  SOLD
