Sunny Delight (not the drink!)

Emanuel Ungaro began his interest in fashion learning to sew from his father. By his mid-twenties, Ungaro was designing for Balenciaga where he gained much insight into the art of draping and sculpting voluminous silhouettes. Women often turned to Ungaro for his great attention to the female form and this draped, yet form fitting blouse is the perfect example of what Ungaro does best.

This spotted, yellow blouse borrows its silhouette from the wrap dress; therefore, the cut is extremely forgiving. The ruching on the capped sleeves lifts this blouse, offering femininity and drama to the traditional polka-dot print. Whether worn to the office or casually on the weekend, this burst of sunshine is destined to delight even the most monochromatic of dressers.
