BROOCH OR BROACH

BROOCH is a clip-on or pin-on piece of jewelry or ornamentation.BROACH is both a noun and a verb. In its noun form, BROACH is a tool used to cut, puncture, or pierce. In its verb form, BROACH means to open or break into.

We get confused, too. But no confusion over the beauty of these two Chanel brooches. The first is a divine poured Gripoix glass confection of ocean green and pink ruby with Swarovski crystal trim. The second is a starburst of Swarovski crystals in an eight point star. The easiest way to make something old feel new is to throw on a vintage brooch on a few season's old dress or jacket. It sounds ironic, but a vintage brooch can jazz up last season's basic. Just don't broach yourself when putting on one of these brooches!
