IS KATIE LEE JOEL YOUR MUSE?

How much did you love the lovable Katie Lee Joel's Harvey Berin dress at Monday night's Costume Institute gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art? We think it was one of the most elegant short dresses of the evening that thankfully didn't scream "desperate" and didn't look like "call girl chic." A short black-tie dress is definitely showing signs of having legs in more ways than one. It's become the new A-okay length for even the most mega-wattage event. This Harvey Berin design is in off-white lace with a beautiful rhinestone overlay. This dress has cap sleeves and a light pink sheath under the lace gives the dress a beautiful hue and makes sure you aren't revealing too much skin between the lace. We love the simple pink satin obi belt and think this dress could even go bridal on the right bride. Regardless of the occasion, this is a marvelous short black tie dress that is oh-so-appropriate for those who are embracing that short is the new long.
