Seperate but Equal

These two dresses come from a designer that evokes visions of elegance and languid luxury. Halston is his name, and the game in this case is embroidery. Both dresses below are done in organza, one baby blue and the other cream. Both dresses are embroidered with metallic blue or gold bugle beads in a layering pattern. This is where the differences begin, the blue dress has been altered. There was a zipper added to the left seam of the blue dress and a satin slip has been sewn to the interior of the dress. The gold dress has the original nude chiffon slip and and there is no zipper. Both dresses come from the Halston 1981 collection (Spring/Summer, if we had to guess).
