Icarus would be jealous

The word steel evokes images of large, heavy, immobile objects. The Yves Saint Laurent steel silk charmeuse gown below is the antithesis of said evocation. This column gown moves with the sustained grace of a Martha Graham dancer, fluid without appearing messy. The shell of the gown is a heavy weight silk charmeuse that is backed with grey crepe chiffon. There is an interior body-hugging column, topped with a bustier done in the same steel silk charmeuse. This dress floats on the body, giving the wearer the wings necessary to fly across any grand ballroom that might get in her way.

You can view this gown paired with a fantastic Geoffrey Beene coat in a past post named "Ultimate Hoodie" Here.
