10-in-1

This is possibly the most versatile gown we have sold. The designer is unknown, but whomever it was, was a genius. The main portion of the dress is made from a silk satin material with a yellow, green and brown stone pattern that is attached to an inner bustier top. The outer shell is a layer of glazed liquid metallic chiffon material with the same pattern as the satin material.
Now for what makes this dress so very special: Hanging from the front of the bustier top are two large triangular swaths of the glazed chiffon material. The pieces are gathered and join in the back on either side of the zipper. The fabric pieces can be used to turn the dress into a halter, or a one shoulder, or a cross back, and so on and on and on. The options for this gown are limited only by ones imagination. Below, please find some options with which we created. This is for a goddess who likes a lot of options. Sometimes, one can't decide what to wear, but with this gown, one has to decide "how" to wear it!

Anonymous glazed liquid metallic chiffon dress with neckline options, c.1970's. Contemporary size 4. SOLD
