Fit to be buried in.

On August 8th, 1962 Marilyn Monroe was buried wearing an Emilio Pucci dress at the Westwood Memorial Park in Los Angeles California. Though this is not the exact dress Marilyn was buried in, this one would have been perfect. The skirt is a sarong style pant, this is very important detail when someone is standing over a subway vent, as Ms. Monroe was known to do. If she had this dress on there would be no issues with the skirt flying up, it would have stayed in place thanks to the trusty pant leg. The material is a very light silk jersey top and silk chiffon bottom. This dress is in great condition except for some very slight marks under the armpits.
