Perfection in an LBD

This dress would have been perfect for an inauguration gala, but it looks as though it has missed the boat. Chanel knows how to make a perfect LBD, and this is no exception. The dress is constructed of black chiffon with a cross over detail in the bust that falls down to the hips and ties in the back forming a bow. The skirt of the dress is pleated, and there are long sleeves ending in a black satin cuff with gold CC emblem buttons. The final detail that makes this piece so special is the keyhole opening in the front (very chic).

This dress might not be headed to D.C. anytime soon, but I am sure that it would be perfect for any black tie affair.
