Colorful Costume Jewelry

Recently we've come across several spectacular fashion jewelry collections containing work by Larry Vrba. After doing some research on this hidden gem of a designer, we discovered that he has been making outrageous, over-the-top jewelry for over 40 years, and was the head designer at Miriam Haskell Jewelry in the 1970s. He has also designed for Broadway stage productions, which explains the scale and intensity of his pieces. The first two earrings are his; the last two pairs are by French designer Jacky de G (no less chic, in our humble opinion).

Vrba Royal Blue Spherical Earrings with Crystal and Pearl Embellishments, c. 1980s. Measures four inches long. SOLD

Vrba Turquoise Crystal and Pearl Adorned Earrings, c. 1980s. Measures 3¾ inches long. SOLD

Jacky de G Brilliant Marigold Enamel Earrings with Gold Embellishments, c. 1980s. Measures three inches long. SOLD

Jacky de G Fuchsia Hoop Dangly Earrings in Fuchsia Velvet and Paillettes and Gold Hardware, c. 1980s. Measures five inches long. SOLD
