Day Four

We have set up a cheap and cheerful rack at the front of the store. All dresses that you can just thrown on to go walking around town in the unbearable heat and still have some pizzaz!

Today we had some new arrivals to our stock they can be seen below and are available for purchase please contact us for pricing...

This victorian peach silk shift is simple playful and versatile. You can wear it with a slip and slides, or you can belt it as seen below and slide on some skinny jeans such as J Brands or Acne. Sold

Below is an Adele white jersey and fringe early 70s flapperesque gown. Its sexy, sultry and very cool.
This is a wonderful cream silm Edwardian dress. It is delicate and young. It has a tired bottom and a satin bow belt tied at the hip. It is in pristine condition and ready to wear. I think it would be perfect with a nude bra, boy shorts, a taupe cardigan and some brown Alexander McQueen coin suede thongs.Sold
This Rappi fuschia chiffon gown is something else. It is from the early 70s and has a midriff revealling diamond pattern cut out in the front and emroidered with sequins and rhinestones. For the women and young ladies who wish to remain far from the Viva Las Vegas lifestlye there is an optional modesty panel that snaps in from the inside to conceal the midriff and the revealling holes. SOLDBelow is a Missoni sweater dress. It is mustard yellow with black embroidery covering it in its entirety. The boat neck collar adds a touch of seductive sex appeal to an already hip hugging curvy creation. The dress certainly capitalizes on the 80s trend that ran into the 90s and was echoed in the designs of Alaia and Leger. SOLD

Day Three

I finished remerchandising the store which now looks marvelous I think and I think you will too. I also think that this gown below, recently featured in our 'Summer Weddings' window.

A silk wedding gown shown from front and back.
This gown is by famed London designer Thea Porter. The dress is Grecian in style but with cockle shell like sequin embroidered epaulets and warrior belt motif. From the 1970s the gown is vintage with contemporary flair. For the lady who wishes to make a statement on her wedding day this is sure to please the groom, the parents and the paparazzi. Sold

Day Two

Saturday- Saturdays are always interesting. They can be wildly busy or tremendously dull. Michael and Cameron are usually the only two Decaders who are in the store on Saturdays so if you feel bored you should pop in to show them a little love.

Decades wants all of you to get ready for the upcoming award season. What better way to do this than to stop in and purchase a glamour puss gown to wear as you strut down the red carpet and up the steps to deliver your acceptance speech.
Do remember the Emmy's are fast approaching!

Today for your viewing pleasure we have a playful Ossie Clark with Celia Birtwell print 40s style dress. The dress is made of moss crepe and has a tie front bust. It is perfect for that late summer cocktail party or garden tea affair. Ossie Clark was a designer during the 70s, married to Celia Birtwell they collaborated using her prints and his designs to make some of the most sumptuous creations of the decade to come out of London. If you have any additional questions regarding this garment please contact us post haste.
